Maruti to bring back Baleno in hatchback with Code named iK-2 in worldwide and YRA in India, the car will be introduced in the Indian market before Diwali this year on 15 september 2015.
In India old Baleno was introduced as a sedan back in 1999. It came with a 1.6 litre petrol engine and It was discontinued in 2007. So now in 2015 new Baleno is being Introduced as a Premium Hatchback Car.

All New Maruti Suzuki Baleno comes with 1.0-litre Boosterjet direct injection turbocharged petrol engine which reduces the engine displacement, a bump in power, torque and Low weight so that the fuel economy will improved in New Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
New Maruti Suzuki Baleno car will be sold through Maruti’s Nexa network and will compete with Hyundai i20 Elite, Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Polo.
